Hello!
My name is Vanessa and I am the owner/lead planner & coordinator for The Traveling Planner! I am an East Coast girl at heart and was raised in the Pocono Mountains but moved to Portland Oregon in the Fall of 2022. Something about the West Coast was calling my name so I took the leap of faith, packed my bags and moved out to the PNW and have been enjoying this new adventure :)

Let’s take it back to 2017 where my experience in the wedding industry all started. I was in college at the time and worked at a resort that offered weddings & events. I started off as a server/bartender and loved the energy that weddings brought. It was so mesmerizing seeing all different styles, themes & traditions. So after college I decided to continue in the wedding industry and worked my way up to a wedding director position. At one point I decided I wanted to have my own business & also get to travel and do what I love. So I decided to create The Traveling Planner and it has been a truly gratifying & adventurous experience!
I love getting to connect with all my couples throughout their wedding experience and help new couples who are just starting off in their planning process! My overall goal is to be your best friend, advice giver, stress reliever, biggest cheerleader & food feeder (yes I will make sure you eat & have a beverage in hand throughout your whole wedding day!)
